John Kerry, Dem MA, inadvertantly took himself out of the running for future presidential bids with his statement indicating (paraphrased) “If you don’t do well in school, you will end up in Iraq” at Pasadena City College, according to Bill Bennet during a CNN interview.
Realizing the screw up, Kerry started back-peddling saying he was referring to President Bush, but to anybody hearing his speech, there could be no mistake.
Calls are being made for Kerry to appologize, including a direct request from Sen. John McCain, who served in the military and was a prisonner of war during the Vietnam war.
Decide for yourself.
