Iv’e seen it before. One election that focused heavily on a new high school in my town. We didn’t need a high school, and still don’t, but we got one anyway. A $70 million dollar one, and the final tally isn’t in yet.
When folks in the town were asked, very few of them figured the school vote would go through. And when asked did you vote for the school, the answer was no, I just thought everyone else would vote no.
Out of 10 thousand voters, fewer than 25% saddled the town with a needless debt.
If you are registered to vote, do it because, “You Are Everyone Else”.
Don’t be an ass like the folks in my town. Taxes will soon double and the next mantra will be “Wha Hoppen”.
Vote and don’t let the socialists gain any ground or you will truely be sorry.
