Until the camel jockeys of Iraq are ready to take on responsibility of securing their country, they really don’t have any say as to how that security will take place.
They want to symapathize with Iran, well then they are on their own, and we will need to treat them like insurgents.
Personally, those folks have to suffer the retribution of armagedon, because they have not learned from past experience, and have not endeavored to better themselves.
Before the so called government of Iraq can call the shots, they need to be held accountable for their actions.
If they don’t want us owning that place, and maybe handing it over to the Kurds, they had better get their crap together.
I think the Kurds deserve the country and would make the entire place a respectable environment for all involved.
It would also redeem the U.S. for past screw-ups and re-assure the world we mean what we say.
Screw the murderous Turks, let the Kurds eliminate that short piece of land, and we will all benefit from the result.
The Kurds are the only democratic and successful group in the area.
We as Americans, have screwed them over before.
We need to pay back that debt.
Let the Kurds determine who lives or dies.
