Iraq Court Upholds Saddam Death Sentence

Think this might be sending the wrong message to the Kurds?

Saddam was condemned to death for his role in the execution of 148 Shiite Muslims from the small northern town of Dujail, after a 1982 assassination attempt.

All I can figure is we are sucking up to the Turks for some reason. Yes, Yes, they are in NATO and we have a base in Incirlik, and the Turks hate the Kurds, the Kurds hate the Turks… There must be something much bigger going on here and I’m not sure it’s in our best interest.
