Here we go again…

US President George W. Bush gave an impassioned defense Thursday of a controversial immigration overhaul that is enduring a stormy passage through Congress.

Arguing that welcoming new migrants to America “renews our spirit and soul,” Bush called on lawmakers to fix a “broken” system by approving legislation that would bring up to 12 million illegal residents “out of the shadows.”

Bush is confident the immigration bill is going to pass no matter what you think or feel.

“I would much rather have people crossing the border with a legitimate card to come in to work on a temporary basis than being stuffed in the back of an 18-wheeler (truck),” he said.

Lock Down The Border And Search The Trucks!!

“Good, hardworking, decent people pay pretty good-sized money to be smuggled into the United States of America,” the president added.

“I don’t think this is American. I think the whole industry that exploits the human being is not in our nation’s interests.”

Well George, Give up on the 1 common border idea and build the damn fences! Oh, My Bad, You want the good-sized money… hmmmm…
