…the president planned to open with a statement challenging Democrats on their proposal for a $35 billion increase in a children’s health insurance program. Bush has threatened to veto the bill.
The $35 billion increase for the State Children’s Health Insurance Program, called SCHIP, would bring total spending to about $60 billion, or twice the level sought by the Bush administration.
SCHIP. Some folks pronounce it Chip, some say Ship. but if you look at the word is should be pronounced Skip. Like SCHool. And this is just what we should do Skip it. It’s just another inroad to forcing government run health care down our throats.
So far government run health care has failed in every country that has tried it, and the lunatics that think it will be any different here have a major screw loose!
