In a speech at the Heritage Foundation, President Bush, once again called for “Clean” bills for funding the troops and veterans.
The last time he called for a Clean Bill, we ended up with Mexican trucks, many of which are owned by Mexican Drug Cartels, roaming the country free as birds, rather than being limited to 20 miles inside the border.
Don’t Nafta Me Bro!
If funding the troops and veterans has to wait 15 months, so be it. We can’t afford more provisions that the people didn’t want, slid into law under the guise of troop or veteran funding.
Bush has proven he can’t be trusted and it is his fault if the funding is halted till he is out of office.
