Do you think the earth is warming?
Do you think mankind can effect this change?
If you answered yes to these questions, you are dangerously close to being considered a dumbass by most.
Frankly, when people talk about the earth warming, they assume dangerous levels, and when the C students try to explain this, well… they just don’t do their homework and listen to the chicken littles.
Today, the earth is no warmer than it was in 1940, in which the earth was cooling. In 1973, the earth started to warm again. In case you forgot, the same chicken littles, (C students) were warning of global cooling and the coming ICE AGE! What a bunch of stupid bastards.
If you think mankind can effect a significant change in the climate of the planet, you 1) think yourself greater than you really are, 2) have no idea just how small mankind really is.
Instead of all this carbon tax credit bullcrap that is going on, we should be taxing ecologists to the point a gallon of gas costs the rest of us $1 per gallon and the insurance companies won’t have to pay the billions for the wild fires caused by the prevention of deforestation. I don’t care if they live on the streets, if you are an ecologist, you have to register, and you will have to make up the difference.
We could cut our dependence on foreign oil by NOT PREVENTING DRILLING ON OUR PROPERTY. Every other 3rd world country is. We only drill on 15% of our reserves. Either do the math or realize we have 85% of un-tapped energy.
Convert all the oil burner power plants to nuclear plants.
These 2 things will just about eliminate our dependence on foreign fuel for the foreseeable future.
