After the recent primaries is Nevada and South Carolina, Mitt Romney still maintains his lead while McCain continues to slide.
Rudy Giuliani who has tossed all of his eggs into one floridian basket may be sorry he did. No longer is he leading in national polls, he is expected to capture the 3rd place spot in Florida.
Florida is a winner take all state, so anything other than 1st place means you lose all delegates.
As of this writing, Romney and McCain are in a dead heat for 1st. Hopefully floridians will wake up and see McCain’s transparent attempt at being a Republican and drop him like a hot rock.
So far, the only votes that have given the edge to McCain have been from independents as he is behind in Republican only votes.
In an un-holy persistence to see a Clinton-McCain race, it appears many independents who would vote for Clinton in the general, have been tossing their eggs into the primary basket for McCain.
I don’t see why independents are allowed to vote in party races. That’s why you join a party.
