Amendment II
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Unlike New Hampshire, where every male (landowner) is automatically considered part of the state militia, many states are seriously confused about the second amendment of the constitution of the United States (not europe, central america, canada, or any other damn place).
The second amendment is focused on the RIGHT of the people to bear arms, because they may be called upon to perform the duties of defense. Hence the militia.
The unfortunate part of the debate is we no longer teach english is the public school system so most folks don’t really know how to read.
If the above 2nd amendment reads anything other than everyone has the right to keep and bear arms (any arms), you really need to re-evaluate your education.
Here it is in a nut shell, “Everyone has the right to have a gun, Just in case we need to form a militia”.
