Obama stimulus package has far more to do with
increasing Democrat power than with economic stimulus . . .

In a meeting with congressional leaders during the first week of his presidency, Barack Obama warned of the urgency to push through his so-called “economic stimulus†plan (which will push the deficit into trillions of dollars and which offers no guarantees whatever that it will stimulate economic recovery): “If we don’t get this done we (the Democrats) could lose seats and I could lose re-election.â€
Remember those words in the days ahead.
